He was born in Racine on August 27, 1944. Norman was employed by Twin Disc Inc. for 26 years. He was a of St. Joseph's Catholic member, also was a member of the Parish Council.
Surviving are his wife, Julie (nee; Joannon), two sons, Joseph C. residing at home, Scott of Portage, Wis.; two daughters and -in-law, Hilary B. Friedel residing at home, Deanna (Carl) Chernouski of Rochester, Wis.; Mother, Betty Friedel of Racine, three sisters and brother-inlaw, Mary Beth McWhorter of Boise, Idaho, Janet Henrickson, of San Diego, Calif., Christine (James) Kunka of Racine, four brothers and -in-law, Thomas (Lynda) of Racine, Michael (Mary) Friedel of Racine, Tony (Mary Kay) Friedel of Racine, Robert Friedel of Racine, father-inlaw and mother-in-law, Jim and Nancy Joannon of Racine; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Norbert Friedel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November: 28, 1990, at 10 a.m.
AT ST. JOSEPHS CATHOLIC CHURCH, with the Reverend Richard Stoffel officiating. Visitation will take place TODAY (Tuesday) November 27, 1990 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Maresh-Meredith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
