As you are aware, Mike died in May, 1996 he was 52 years old, married leaving Patricia his wife and his 3 beautiful children. Mike worked for the State of Ill. highway dept. as a foreman. He always maintained a great sense of humor, loved sports (remember he was all state tackle at St. Cat's), and had a great gift of bullshit. I once told my brother that 90% of what came out of his mouth was bullshit, to which he replied - 90% ain't bad! Mike was very loyal. If you were his friend he would cover your back and defend your reputation if need be. Michael, the oldest son is an accountant for Arthur Anderson, Tim is in law school, and Colette is a senior at Kansas University. Mike was the best joke teller I ever met, he would often laugh out the punch line as he finished the joke which in turn would cause the listener to laugh that much more. Michael was born in Racine on July 9, 1943, to Nicholas and Edith (nee: Christiano) Binetti. He was united in marriage to Patricia Johnson. He received his education at Lakeside, Holy Trinity, St. Stanislaus, St. Catherine's High School, and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He was a Highway Department Foreman for the State of Illinois for 20 years, last working in 1991 and was a member of St. Lucy's Parish. Surviving are wife, Patricia (nee: Johnson) Binetti; one daughter, Colette; two sons, Michael and Timothy; parents, Nicholas and Edith Binetti of Racine; brother, William R. Binetti of Racine; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Route 64 in downtown St. Charles, 111., on Friday, May 31, 1996, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow.
