Memories submitted at the 40th Reunion - July, 2002:

After high school, I furthered my education in Art/Art Education at Wisconsin State University-Whitewater from 1962-1966. I worked at an advertising agency in Racine from 1966-1967 and then taught Art at Case High School from 1968-1972.
After that, I went on to graduate school in Art at SIV-C (M.F.A. 1974). This was followed by a teaching position in Art at University of Guam, Mariana’s Islands from 1975-1990. I married Marvin (Monty) now deceased (Artist, Anthropologist, Archaeologist) on Yap island, Micronesia in 1976. (We met at graduate school (SIV-Carbondale). I have three grown stepchildren and one step-grandchild. I am now retired and moved to Hawaii (1990) where I am currently residing.
Forty years of life experience has taught me…..
To continue to strive for a healthy balance in all aspects of life
To seek out, take joy in, and appreciate the differences in the world
To take comfort from what we all experience in common
To maintain and nurture a sense of humor
