Wed, 9/14/2011 - talked with Kenneth Beauchamp (SCHS '63) today about Donna's passing - he stated that Donna was a very private person but very loyal to her friends and family. As the eldest of the family, she was the one that gave up her career to take care of her mother in later life - but unfortunately she contracted cancer - which we all know can be so devastating - and passed away just one year ago this week.

Ken said she was always the first one to help anybody out or to comfort someone. She was loved by her nieces and nephews - as well as her whole family - and was always there for anyone in need.

Donna's last wishes included some private contributions for scholaships to St Catherine's HS and St Edwards GS (now combined with other Catholic grade schools in area). Ken remarked that all her works were done without recognition or publicity - and that's the way Donna wanted to be remembered.

Perhaps you'll take a moment and say a prayer - for our fellow classmate, Donna Beauchamp and her departed soul.
